At Fritz Tech, we use leading edge 3D Modeling and Design tools to identify problems early, and solve them before they take up valuable time and resources during installation. We aim to be as thorough as possible given the parameters of the project, so that we can deliver a design that exceeds expectations, and comes together smoothly.
We view Technical Design as an art form within itself. Beginning with the creative vision for a stage, sculpture, structure or machine - we establish the criteria for how the product should look, feel and operate. We then factor in other constraints such as engineering requirements, installation, product availability and timeline. Once we have the framework ready, we progress the technical design with an eye towards element solutions that speak the language of the piece. While we are designing, we work in lockstep with our client’s team to ensure expectations are clear and are being met along the way. When we create drawings, we think about who is going to be handling them, and what information they need to be successful. A great design means nothing if it cannot be communicated effectively. We love bringing ideas from a simple sketch on paper to a fully fleshed out 3D model, and all the way to a real life installation.
We are well connected in the arts and entertainment industry, and we have experience in many roles and types of events. We believe that at the root of all great art is people, and treating our collaborators with respect and understanding will lead to a smooth process. We thoroughly enjoy getting in the mix with team members from all trades and backgrounds, so that we can sew together the creative vision from all sides into a beautiful work of art (or grotesque, if that’s the vibe).
